The Book of Romans

Paul's letter to the Romans is the Holy Bible's definitive 'doctrinal treatise' on the theology of man's need for Salvation by Grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a systematic discussion and analysis of the Plan of Salvation that details the universal depraved nature of man, his position under God's wrath and why, and defines the judicial differences between being under the Law of God or the saving Grace of God.

The links below are to a complete work "Studies in Romans" by the late B.H. Carroll, D.D., LL.D. The work dates from 1935 and is in the public domain. Regardless of the antiquity of this writing, it remains relevant for today's Bible student and I consider it quite worthy for inclusion in this website's curation of Doctrinal Studies. It is a comprehensive and very detailed study. I recommend you bookmark this index and plan to spend a considerable amount of time and prayer ingesting this material. These lessons are preserved in the .pdf document format and should open in your browser without any difficulty. Feel free to download these documents to your desktop computer if doing so will be helpful.
